The Crown Hill Urban Village (CHUV) Committee for Smart Growth is asking for your input on critical community considerations as we experience fast-paced growth in the Crown Hill Urban Village (which includes parts of Whittier Heights, Loyal Heights, Crown Hill, Olympic Manor, and Greenwood).
There are already 15 new development projects in the pipeline within our urban village and expansion zone; and the city must hear from us regarding the transit and infrastructure support our community needs as density increases.
Our goal is to share your input with the City to ensure our community needs are being met.
We’ve been asked by our City Councilmember, Mike O’Brien, for a list of specific projects that our community wants to see completed. We’ve identified several key infrastructure needs that we feel top the list, and you can propose your priorities.
Our organization finally has enough community involvement to field a survey asking our neighbors about specifics. We’ll use your feedback on this survey to provide the City with guidelines on what we want.
Please take time to respond to our brief survey by July 31.
Help Spread the Word
Invite your neighbors to participate too. We want the voices of renters and owners, landlords, businesses and even those immediately outside of the proposed upzone. We’re all going to be impacted by growth and thus, we should all have a voice.
