Updated:  Download the Find It Fix It Report on Outcomes for the Crown Hill Whittier Heights walk here.

Join city representatives at one of three separate events over the next two weeks as they report back to the community and answer questions on the service requests neighbors made during the Mayor’s Find It Fix It Walk last November.

Our Crown Hill/Whittier Heights walk addressed some of the infrastructure issues which would need to be addressed in order for our community to absorb growth as part of the Urban Village expansions proposed by the Mayor’s HALA plan.

Neighbors presented key issues impacting the community, including slow bus service, flooding and stormwater drainage issues, the need for safe pedestrian walkways and crossings of arterials, crime in Baker Park and the need for planning as we are upzoned for growth.  Additionally, neighbors requested specific repairs including graffiti, broken curbs, poor lighting and overgrown brush that require immediate attention.

Our walk map, photos and videos of the November 19 event can be found here.

Find It Fix It walks are Mayor-led events that bring City officials and the community together with the goal of partnering with neighbors to improve neighborhoods. During these walks, neighbors, police, and City officials walk together to identify physical elements in the neighborhood that make it feel unsafe or poorly maintained. Once the elements are identified, the City and community work together to fix the problems.

Join one of these events to hear the report and ask questions.  We will also update this post with the final report when it is completed.
